Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group, has announced a series of new initiatives aimed at supporting global customers’ innovation efforts. The new initiatives include the launch of an international innovation center, a global startup support program, and the expansion of its cloud technology ecosystem.
The international innovation center, called the “Alibaba Cloud Academy” will offer online and offline courses, certifications, and training programs to help individuals and businesses develop skills in cloud computing, big data, and AI. The Academy will also host workshops, hackathons, and other events to foster innovation and collaboration among industry experts and developers.
The global startup support program, called “Create@Alibaba Cloud,” will provide startups with technical and business resources to help them accelerate their growth. This includes access to Alibaba Cloud’s global infrastructure, funding and investment opportunities, and marketing and promotion services. The program will also connect startups with Alibaba Group’s vast network of partners, customers, and resources.
Alibaba Cloud’s cloud technology ecosystem, which already includes more than 10,000 partners and 2,000 solutions, will be expanded to support the company’s global customers. This includes new partnerships with global technology companies, such as VMware and Red Hat, to provide more comprehensive and integrated cloud solutions.
“The launch of the Alibaba Cloud Academy, Create@Alibaba Cloud, and the expansion of our cloud technology ecosystem, demonstrate our commitment to helping global customers drive innovation and achieve business success,” said Jeff Zhang, President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. “We believe that by empowering startups and providing training and resources to individuals, we can create a more vibrant and collaborative technology community that drives innovation and progress.”
